Wizard’s Odyssey returns to Isle of Wonders 2025 with a splash of color, and a trio of world-class judges ready to critique, inspire, and crown the next masters of the miniature realm!
We’re proud to welcome back the dynamic duo of Craftworld Studio, Aleksandra Cvetanovski and Marko Miladinović, alongside the incredible Winton Afrić, each bringing their distinct artistic voices and finely tuned eyes for detail to this year’s competition.
From our festival’s very roots, the Miniature Painting competition has been a place where the fantastic meets the tangible, where worlds are crafted, brushstroke by brushstroke, into tiny epics. And this year, the bar is set higher than ever.

Meet our honored judges!
Craftworld Studio – Aleksandra Cvetanovski and Marko Miladinović
The ever-inspiring couple from Serbia return as fan favorites and respected authorities in the miniature world. Known for their distinctive and innovative painting style, they bring a unique blend of fine art background and deep passion for gaming lore. Graduates of Applied Arts, they began their careers in traditional and design arts, only to fall headlong into the colorful rabbit hole of miniature painting. Their work elevates the form, transforming display miniatures into true gallery-worthy pieces. an aesthetic as rich as it is precise.
Winton Afrić
New to our judging panel but a titan in the art world, Winton is an academic painter, sculptor, and creature concept specialist with over 15 years of university-level teaching in drawing, anatomy, digital sculpting, and concept art. His ability to breathe life into characters, using both traditional techniques and cutting-edge digital workflows, makes him an invaluable eye for originality and technical execution. From gallery walls to international conventions, Winton’s creatures defy expectations and redefine what’s possible in collectible sculpture and mini design.
Whether you’re painting a goblin’s grimy boots or a sorceress’s gleaming staff, this year’s judges will be watching with practiced eyes and artistic hearts.
