D&D’s Flagship Artist Is Coming to Cres: Tyler Jacobson Joins Isle of Wonders 2025!

Tyler Jacobson, one of the most iconic illustrators in the fantasy art world, is officially coming to Isle of Wonders 2025!
Tyler Jacobson, the man behind the breathtaking covers of the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition Player’s Handbook and Dungeon Master’s Guide, the brush behind countless Magic: The Gathering cards, and the artist whose painting of Drizzt Do’Urden shattered records and expectations alike.
With a style that’s cinematic, emotional, and impossibly vivid, Tyler’s work has become the visual backbone of modern fantasy gaming. And now, this master of myth and brushstroke is joining us on the windswept shores of Cres.
Hailing from Oakland, California, Jacobson’s talent reaches far beyond the realms of dice and dragons. His illustrations have appeared in Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, Scientific American, and Texas Monthly, where his oil painting Last Days of the Comanches revealed the same level of storytelling he brings to every card and cover.
He’s also currently shaping the visual world of Quest’s End, Matthew Lillard’s fantasy-themed whiskey line, where his mapmaking and bottle art continue to prove there’s no medium where Jacobson doesn’t shine.
Whether you’re an aspiring artist, a D&D diehard, or just someone who appreciates when fantasy art makes your jaw drop, this is a rare chance to meet the artist behind the images that defined a generation of roleplayers.
