Ori & Nori are coming to the Isle of Wonders!

Jed Brophy and Adam Brown announce their arrival!
Yes, you read that right! Two dwarves are marching straight out of Middle-earth and onto our island! We’re beyond thrilled to officially announce that Jed Brophy (Nori) and Adam Brown (Ori), beloved dwarves from The Hobbit film trilogy, are coming to the Isle of Wonders as our special guests of honor!
Last year, Jed joined us for an unforgettable festival experience, and he left Cres promising to return, with friends. True to his word, he’s coming back, and he’s bringing Adam with him!
Both actors will be with us throughout the festival. Expect panels, stories from the set, autographs, laughter, and plenty of unexpected moments. You’ll have the chance to meet them, hear from them, and maybe even share a drink under the Cres stars.
Jed Brophy is no stranger to epic worlds and unforgettable characters. A long-time collaborator with Peter Jackson, he’s played roles across The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies; not just as Nori the dwarf, but also as elves, orcs, ringwraiths, and a host of creatures that make Middle-earth what it is.
His talent for transformation and physical performance has made him a key figure in New Zealand’s film scene, and he’s even appeared in The Rings of Power. From sword-wielding warriors to grotesque goblins, if you’ve watched Jackson’s Tolkien adaptations, you’ve definitely seen Jed at work, probably several times over.

Adam Brown, meanwhile, brings his own eclectic spark. Beyond Ori in The Hobbit, Adam’s screen presence has lit up the high seas in Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge (a.k.a. Dead Men Tell No Tales), where he shared scenes with none other than Captain Jack Sparrow himself.
He’s a trained theatre actor with a gift for comedy and heart, having originated roles in major UK stage productions before leaping into blockbuster franchises. Whether navigating treasure maps or ancient ruins, Adam brings a warmth and wit that make his characters unforgettable.
