One of the main highlights of our festival is the Cosplay Competition. This competition provides a stage for cosplayers to showcase their ingenuity and passion for the art of cosplay. As the sun sets over the coasts of Cres, cosplayers adorned in elaborate costumes and intricate makeup grace the festival grounds, bringing beloved characters from literature, film, video games, anime, and more to life.

Free 3-Day Pass
A FREE 3-DAY PASS (with all privileges and discounts included) will be given to every cosplayer who REGISTERS for the competition and is APPROVED to compete in it.
After we submit your registration, you will receive word from our judges regarding their approval or disapproval within two to three days.

The following trophies will be given to the three winners of our cosplay competition:
1st place:
Golden Trophy + CosplayShop.be gift package + Cash Prize

Bronze Trophy + CosplayShop.be gift package + Cash Prize
Let the audience decide who deserves the title of Fan Favorite!
Three stickers will be handed to each ticket holder for the Isle of Wonders – Cres festival, which they can use to support/vote for their favorite cosplayer. The cosplayer with most votes/stickers will be given a Fan Favorite medal.
Category that represents a recognition given to a participant or a costume that, while not securing one of the top prizes, is still deemed noteworthy or praiseworthy by the judges. Each judge will award one honorable mention medal (3 in total).
No franchise? No problem. Here, your originality is the main event. Got a cosplay that’s 100% you? Maybe it’s your DnD character, someone from a story you wrote, or a wild design that lives only in your head?
Bring them to life at "Isle of Wonders", a rare gem in Croatia that celebrates original characters and the brilliant minds behind them.
Our OC Cosplay Competition is all about creativity and craft. From hand-stitched cloaks to scratch-built armor, from fantasy queens to space pirates, we want to see it all!
Tell us their story, show us your skills; impress the judges with your design, detail, and imagination! Bonus points if your character has a cool backstory or a dramatic pose.

Krishna aka. KADArt Costumes has been a passionate cosplayer since 2014 with a knack for handcrafting and a strong tendency regarding video game Cosplays in particular. His love for wordless dramaturgy follows him further into his day-to-day job and studies, as he works as a costume designer and -builder in the areas of film, action, theatre and opera. His previously created cosplays include characters from Assassin's Creed, The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077.

Syf Cosplay
Since 2014, Stéphanie, also known as Syf Cosplay, works with great passion to create detailed, realistic and functional costumes. She adores using natural materials such as linen, wool, leather and metal, and is always eager to learn about new techniques ! Her costume creations come from different inspirations, whether it's video games like The Witcher or The Last of Us, or movies such as Van Helsing. On top of cosplays, she also adores creating her own costume designs that she enjoys wearing during LARP events. Over the years, Syf has won more than a dozen prizes in various European competitions and since 2019 she is also regularly part of the jury members in competitions, not only in Switzerland but all over Europe.
