Adam Brown is a British actor and comedian best known for his portrayal of Ori, the scholarly and endearing dwarf in Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit trilogy. As one of the youngest members of Thorin Oakenshield’s company, Ori stood out with his wide-eyed curiosity and heartfelt bravery, traits that Brown brought to life with warmth and humor. His performance added a gentle charm to the epic journey to Erebor, making Ori a fan favorite among Tolkien enthusiasts.
Before his cinematic debut, Brown co-founded the comedy theatre troupe Plested and Brown, showcasing his talent for both writing and performance.
