JED BROPHY

Jed Brophy, a versatile New Zealand actor, is celebrated for his extensive collaborations with director Peter Jackson, notably portraying the cunning dwarf Nori in The Hobbit trilogy. Nori, known for his elusive nature and questionable dealings, became a standout character, with Brophy’s performance adding depth and intrigue to the Company of Thorin Oakenshield. 

Beyond The Hobbit, Brophy’s contributions to Middle-earth are unparalleled. He uniquely appeared in all six of Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films, taking on various roles from orcs to elves. His commitment to the franchise extended to Amazon’s The Rings of Power, where he portrayed the orc Vrath, showcasing his adaptability and dedication to Tolkien’s universe.
