LUKE GYGAX
About
Luke Gygax is a cornerstone of the tabletop RPG world and a proud torchbearer of his legendary heritage. The son of Dungeons & Dragons co-creator Gary Gygax, Luke is an Ennie Award-winning designer, founder of Gary Con®, and the driving force behind Gygax Ink. Having grown up literally at the gaming table with the pioneers of the RPG industry, he famously played the wizard Melf (aka Prince Brightflame), whose spells still echo through the latest editions of D&D.
Luke has authored and contributed to numerous game modules and settings, including The Lost City of Gaxmoor, The Dread From Geneva Lake, The Eye of Chentoufi, and the epic Tomb of Gyzaengaxx. His own fantasy setting, The World of Okkorim, continues to expand across multiple systems. Now a retired U.S. Army officer, Luke is devoted to building community and inspiring gamers through live play sessions, seminars, and his work on the unpublished Castle Zagyg campaign. He lives in Southern California with his wife, three daughters, and their heroic hound, Grogu Spoticus Gygax.
And yes, you can bet he’s bringing the magic to the Isle of Wonders!
